How I stayed away from social media for more than a year now.

Make a plan to gradually reduce your use of social media. If you want to take a social media break in the new year, for example, try to limit your social media usage in the weeks leading up to New Year. Start reducing the amount of time you spend on your break around 7 days before you plan to take it. How much you cut back on social media is determined by how much you use it.
For example, if you spend two hours each day on social media, reduce your usage to 1 hour 7 days before your break. Then, 3 days before you intend to start your social media break, reduce it to few minutes each day.

Deactivate or delete your social media account. If you notice that you’re getting fitter, happier, and more productive while taking a social media break, you might want to make it a full-time social media elimination. In this instance, you’ll be saying your final goodbyes to social networking.
Depending on the social networking platform, the procedure for canceling your account differs. It’s usually simple and quick, requiring only accessing the user menu options to the part dealing with your account. Simply confirm your decision by clicking Delete My Account. You can regain your account in the future easily if you have deactivated your account.
I knew it would be challenging. However, you will notice a change once you do. Simply said, don’t return to those programs…
